The Zip screen and the Zip screen Extreme are side retention systems that offer a sleek, no-gap finish that will shield your outdoor area from the sun, rain, insects, and moderate winds. The fabric is locked into the side channels by fabric zips, which means the blind does not need to be manually locked in place like most other outdoor blinds. This Zip screen has several control options, including spring assist control, which is manually pulled down to your desired position and is best suited to smaller openings. The system then moves into gearbox-operated and motorised control, best suited to more prominent openings in patios and alfresco areas. Motorisation provides effortless control at your fingertips and the option to link your blinds to your Smart Home Automation. The Zipscreen and Zipscreen Extreme are far more resilient to windy conditions than standard spring-operated systems but should always be retracted in extreme weather and Storms. The Zip screen also has an option for Flashing behind the blind or a Fully Enclosed Headbox that covers the roll, brackets, and componentry to achieve a sleek, modern look.
